The Brazilian central defender is committed to the team since his compatriots Vini Jr and Rodrygo Militao renew with Real Madrid until 2028 with a clause of 1 billion. Contract renewals continue at Real Madrid. First Modric, then Vinicius, then Rodrygo and now the last to get on the extra time train is Éder Militao. The central defender and the leaders of Real Madrid have agreed to improve and extend his contract until 2028. As has happened with previous renewals, the termination clause will be set at 1,000 million euros.
Militao signed for Real Madrid in the winter of 2019 after leaving Porto, landing in the Spanish capital in the summer of that year. Just six months in Portugal were enough for him to make the leap to LaLiga.
His first season registered more shadows than certainties but halfway through the 20-21 campaign he made the jump to the starter when Ramos and Varane were injured. Since then no one has taken away his starting position and he has become essential for the team. The Madrid board has wanted to recognize his growth and has done so by closing an agreement that will unite him with Real Madrid until 2028. The talks began last March and everything has materialized in the last few hours. With these three decisions, the next one will be the new hiring of Lunins without forgetting the commitment to Benzema plus those made in his day with Valverde or Courtois. Real Madrid will ensure the continuity of the backbone for the next five years.
