Max Verstappen sent a devastating radio message to Red Bull amid the British GPs troubles.

Verstappen was in a race to forget at Silverstone as he damaged his car while running on some debris shattering his hopes of winning the British Grand Prix for the first time. F1 Preview The lap of the British Grand Prix Max Verstappen angered his Red Bull engineers on the radio when he realized there was a meaningless pit stop during the British Grand Prix. The Dutchman started the race for the second time and in 10 laps he took advantage of Carlos Sanes mistake to take the lead. It didnt last long when he raised an issue when he ran over some debris on the track.

At first he thought it was a puncture and came to Pitt Lane in the hope that it would make a difference. But that did not happen because he continued to waste time with the people around him. The teams investigation revealed a problem with the bodywork on his Red Bull but they were happy not to retire the car because they felt the problem was not important. This meant that he was out of the race to win though and instead was fighting for as many points as he could in order.

After a few laps they were asked to return to the pits giving the impression that they felt they could make some immediate changes to their physical function. But what happened was that they turned into a set of hard tires which Versatopen struggled to keep warm. The Dutchman was soon on the radio with his race engineer and was clearly not in a good mood after the disappointing race. After Sebastian Vettel lost to Austin Martin as he struggled to catch up he told the team exactly what he thought of the decision to re-put.
