Season 2 shows that Clara is struggling with single motherhood outside of marriage and Georgia's Chaparrons prevented her from having an affair with Lockhart. Bergerton is based on a series of open-door (sexually explicit) romance novels that do not ignore these concepts, but Season 2 has also reduced the number of sex scenes as the dynamics of Anthony and Cates' relationship differs. The relationship between Anthony and Cates was about mutual desires. Cannot be accomplished without social consequences. Anthony and Kate complete their relationship and are shown on screen to emphasize that the two characters are acknowledging mutual attraction. Sanditon Season 2 is sure to appeal to audiences who still don't want open door regency romance.
While Senditon Season 2 takes the lead in solving Austin's entertainment and historical issues overall, Senditon's Season 3 can still learn some lessons from Burgerton Season 2. Improving the diversity of behind-the-scenes talent as well as hiring colorful actors can continue to attract new audiences. Sanditen also adds more variety to the phantom with a more diverse cast and crew. What Burgerton can learn from Sanditon Burgerton can learn that there is scope for inserting real history into the alternative history scenario. In addition, Season 2 hired black history advisers.
