The regular season of the Cup series is fast approaching its final stage. Before that, though, the Kwik Trip will be 250. Road America is one of the most popular racing sites in the country, but it is only hosting three cup series races to count Sunday's event. Chase Elliott, last year's winner, is a potential favorite this year, especially after claiming the checkered flag at last week's Ellie 400 in Nashville. But many drivers can cross the 4 mile road.
The course is the longest in the Cup series and the area can be treacherous, especially when combined with sand, gravel and grass racing surfaces. Furthermore, the race between Cup series veterans is still relatively unknown. This will be only their second cup race on the course. For those who want to claim a place in the Cup series playoffs, the Kwik Trip 250 means everything. Given the new pin of the race, there is definitely a flag for drivers who are hoping to punch their ticket for the post-season with a win on Sunday.
Here's everything you need to know to watch Sunday's race, including the TV channel and start time.
On which channel is NASCAR Race in Road America today?
The USA Network will take Sunday's NASCAR race to a U.S.-Canadian audience that can take action on TSN5. Rick Allen will play his traditional role as a lap-to-lap announcer. He will be joined at the booth by Cup series veterans Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Burton, as well as Steven Letert, the chief of staff who won the Daytona 500. The Kwik Trip 250 will be broadcast on Peacock, NBC's streaming service, and fuboTV, offering a free trial. The NBC Cup series is now being covered until the end of the Cup series playoffs, with the races to be broadcast on the NBC and USA networks.
